Poke’ Class

Get hands-on & learn by making your own fresh fish poke’ & then enjoy a poke’ bowl feast of what you’ve created!

  Class begins with something refreshing to drink and talking story. Then, using the freshest fish caught locally, right off shore by ‘ohana you will learn the story of how poke’ came to be as you learn how to make The Original “Hawaiian Style” and the Modern Day Spicy or Fresh Ginger Poke’.

  And then eaikakou, enjoy together a poke’ bowl feast of what you created.

Class is $200pp and can be at my home or yours! 

About me, Chef Kalen… I am a Hawaiian and a long time chef, born & raised Kaua’i. Poke’ is my family’s tradition. My ‘ohana are fishermen and I grew up eating Poke’. I have been teaching Poke’ Class since 2019. I only use fresh fish caught right off shore by ‘ohana, so class is pending availability of the freshest fish.
