Wai wai…it's been raining n raining...and now it's wela! And then it’s raining :)
Our mauna & gardens are absolutely loving it…so are we… Everything is so green, lush, and jungly right now. This land that was deemed unfit to be farmed because of the perils of the pineapple days now everywhere you look, something new is sprouting, blooming, or asking to be harvested…
Bees are humming…busy with all the blossoms, which means more of our "best ever!" Lilikoi Butter will be coming soon!
Trade winds are blowing breezes filled with the scent of red dirt after rain mixed with ylang ylang…and this scent we’ve been blending with wild calendula flowers & local organic kukui nut oil & arnica oil for a very soothing all over oil…
Mangoes and guavas and chili peppers are ripening too, so fresh batches of old school Mango Jam and Gushiken’s Sweet “Guava Guava Jelly”and Mango Banga’ and GuavaLava Sauce are just around the corner.
We've also got choke lemons, oranges, and limes, and we're having fun creating a new citrus salt blend that we are soon to share.
Figs, kumquats, bananas, papayas, ʻulu, and so much more are ripening every day…and we are always planting more seeds n trees :)
